Pharrell Williams recently shared a photo of the latest Adidas NMD R1 Pink Grey colorway on his official Instagram account (@pharrell). This sleek NMD Human Race iteration appears to have Beige- or Tan-colored uppers. It also appears to be equipped with Blue-colored laces, while an Orange hue appears over lacing cage system and the EVA inserts present over its all-White, full-length Boost sole units. Last but not least, the words “Breathe” and “Walk” can be spotted over the left and right shoe, respectively.
Alongside Ellen DeGeneres and Lady Gaga, Adidas NMD R1 Mens Black Williams is now a part of The Love Project, a new global social movement by REVLON. This week, Lady Gaga posted a mystery message on her official Twitter account (@ladygaga) to tease the project. Her post did not exactly reveal what kind of collaboration this would be, fortunately Revlon released an official state along with a commercial during the 89th Academy Awards U.S. telecast. The commercial featured Ellen, Lady Gaga and Pharrell. Apart from his involvement in this project, Pharrell has also been previewing a number of adidas “Human Race” iterations, such as the new one featured here.
Earlier in 2016, Adidas NMD Mens R1 Grey and UNITED ARROWS & SONS teamed up to collaboratively design a “Tonarukara Navy” colorway of the Tobacco model. The lifestyle model that was first introduced back in the 70s and instead of taking an elaborate approach, they designed it to be quite simple. The recently designed “Tonarukara Navy” had uppers made up of premium tonal suede. The sneaker eventually arrived at the various UNITED ARROWS & SONS flagship stores on April 28th and later at the adidas online shop in Japan on May 6th, 2016. adidas and UNITED ARROWS & SONS have collaborated once again, this time working together on a brand new NMD City Sock iteration.
